CENTRAL Highlands Regional Council at Rockhampton in Queensland is planning installation of a video surveillance solution for security and monitoring, with remote systems to be installed at multiple landfill and waste transfer stations.
Key aspects of this overall solution include that each remote CCTV system shall be solar powered and be designed to provide coverage of the entire site. The data collected by the remote CCTV systems must be stored locally but accessed remotely, with each CCTV system able to be controlled and monitored a central location.
