Queensland Health Seeks Security Systems – Queensland Health has released an invitation to offer for the maintenance of electronic security and life safety systems across its assets, a scope of works that covers access control, CCTV, duress, nurse call systems and associated infrastructure.
The tender seeks to establish a standing offer arrangement for preventative and corrective maintenance, as well as emergency call-out and breakdown services, across a wide range of deployed systems and devices.
This scope of includes servicing of CCTV systems, electronic access control systems, duress and intruder alarms, body-worn cameras and nurse call systems, along with associated annunciators, software platforms and supporting equipment. The contract also covers supply of related parts and consumables required to maintain system performance.

From an operational perspective, the requirement is for ongoing support of critical systems rather than new installation, with an emphasis on uptime, fault response and lifecycle management across multiple facilities.
Queensland Health is one of the largest public health systems in Australia, operating a statewide network of hospitals, health services and specialist facilities across metropolitan, regional and remote locations. This includes acute hospitals, community health centres and critical care environments where security and nurse call systems are directly linked to patient safety and staff response.
