Redfish Technologies Installs Alta At Australind Boat Ramp.

Redfish Technologies Installs Alta – Redfish Technologies has installed Alta Aware hybrid cloud cameras at Australind Boat Ramp in Western Australia.

“Our CCTV project at the Australind Boat Ramp showcases the effectiveness of Alta Aware hybrid cloud cameras, which combine onboard storage and advanced analytics,” said Redfish Technologies’ Stuart Herring.

“The cameras are equipped with License Plate Recognition (LPR) technology and were installed by the Redfish team, which oversaw the detailed design, supply of cameras, poles, and ground works, electrical installation, and commissioning, ensuring a seamless and efficient security solution.”

According to Tom Kinkade of local distributor Sektor, the Alta solution features end-to-end security, always-on video analytics, and real-time anomaly detection from all connected cameras.

“Alta video security solutions include Avigilon’s Alta cameras featuring onboard, AI-powered video analytics and optionally, integrated video storage; Alta Aware cloud-based video management system; and Alta Cloud Connectors featuring onboard storage and AI-powered video analytics for cameras without integral storage or cloud connectivity,” Kinkade said.

Shire of Harvey’s CCTV cameras are connected to the shire’s network and live camera footage is recorded and stored remotely. The busy Australind boat ramp will be closed to the public later in the year to allow Ventia to use the facilities as part of a project to refurbish the historic Australind Jetty.

Perth-based Redfish Technologies specialises in design, installation, commissioning and support of integrated audiovisual technology, including CCTV, and specialised evidential recording systems, with clients including justice, parliamentary, law enforcement, local government and corporate sectors.
