Melbourne Health has gone to tender on behalf of Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH) seeking to establish a security operations centre at the city campus to centralise security operations.

The new SOC operational scope will include:

    1) Monitoring security incidents/events in real-time

    2) Responding quickly to keep staff and patients safe and providing real-time information to the security response team.

Note: Monitoring security events is the prime requirement of the SOC. Real time responding to security events is anticipated to be undertaken through external functions of the SOC systems though the respondents are encouraged to advise where there systems they can provide that functionality.

A briefing session will be held at Webex – details to be provided upon registration with Suzy via email at: suzy.mcdonald@mh.org.au, in Melbourne on 30 July 2021 12:00 PM.
