Sapio Wins Sydney Water Again
Sapio wins Sydney Water again – Electronic security solutions provider, Sapio, has won a contract to provide security and maintenance services for Sydney Water.
“Sapio is proud to announce that we have been successful in our tender submission to be Sydney Water’s electronic security provider for service and maintenance for a second term,” Sapio said.
“The entire team at Sapio is extremely proud to have won this new contract – it’s down to the great work the team has done over the years, from the office to the field which has assisted us here, again, this time around.
“It was a very competitive tender process and Sapio is excited and looking forward to providing its highest level of service to Sydney Water in the years ahead.”
Sydney Water is a New South Wales Government–owned statutory corporation with annual budget around $A3 billion that provides potable drinking water, wastewater and some stormwater services to 5.5 million people in Sydney, the Illawarra and the Blue Mountains regions of Australia.
Sydney Water is Australia’s largest water utility, supplying customers from 11 major dams through 13 water delivery systems and its infrastructure including 22,600km of pipes, 247 reservoirs, 152 drinking water pumping stations, 9 water filtration plants and the Kurnell Desalination Plant at Botany Bay, which is managed by Veolia Water Australia.
