SECURITY and Government Expo, a half-day pop-up expo to be held at the Realm Hotel Canberra November 3 from 12-6pm (register here), has sold out with a waiting list of 4 companies and only one sponsorship package left, according to organiser, Monique Keatinge.
SAGE Exhibitors include Bosch, Dahua, Axis, LSC, Pelco, Inner Range, Chubb, Add-on APAC, EKA, Avigilon, FSH, Direct Connect, Perimeter Systems, Gallagher, LED Sensormat, Geutebruck, NTT Communications, Sektor, Gunnebo, Honeywell, Ezi Security Systems and Hitachi, with Hills and Genetec sponsoring lanyards and drinks.
“SAGE Expo will show security managers, integrators, installers and consultants in the nation’s capital an excellent spread of solutions from quality providers,” Keatinge said. “It’s an informal environment conducive to talk with free drinks and canapes served from 3.30-6pm.”
Luke Williams, chief security officer Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade will speak on International Security Challenges, A DFAT Perspective at Security and Government Expo in Canberra on November 3. His presentation will deal with some of the challenges of protecting Australia’s embassies overseas and is sure to generate plenty of interest from end users in corporate and government organisations, as well as being revealing for consultants and integrators.
Security and Government Expo, which is organised by SEN with support from leading industry sponsor ASIS ACT, includes an application-specific demonstration of wide angle cameras with angles of view ranging from 180-270 degrees. This demonstration will give attendees the chance to make up their own minds which cameras they think handle very challenging wide angle street and public space applications with the most resolution and the least distortion.
SAGE is the only chance security professionals in Canberra have to see the latest technologies in 2016.If you’re serious about security, we’ll see you there on November 3. ♦
