Security Sought For Lambruk Solar Farm – Venn Energy has called for expressions of interest for security services at the Lambruk Solar Farm near Tamworth in north-western NSW.
The scope is broad, with the package covering security for the solar farm site. The solutions will likely include access control of site and buildings, as well as alarms spanning perimeter protection, asset monitoring and intrusion detection across multiple built structures. There’s certain to be an alarm monitoring and response component, as well as some automation and possibly long-range fire detection.
The Lambruk Solar Farm is a state significant development (SSD) located approximately 15 km from Tamworth in north-west NSW. The project involves the construction, operation and decommissioning of a PV solar facility with a capacity of approximately 500 MW (DC) and 300 MW (AC) able to supply electricity to the National Electricity Market and a battery energy storage system (BESS) with an indicative capacity of up to 300 MW/1200 MWh.
Venn Energy, as project developer and operator, is responsible for delivering and managing the site’s infrastructure.
