See U-Prox 4800-Metre Wireless Alarm At SecTech – U-PROX is showing its 4800-metre wireless alarm system at SecTech Roadshow in Melbourne next Tuesday, May 20.
According to U-Prox, the MPX hub is a new generation of wireless security centres, featuring a powerful processor that integrates functions into a capable desktop modem featuring enhanced memory, photo verification, home automation and LTE comms.
MPX supports up to 500 security system devices, including up to 250 zones for wireless sensors, 150 automation devices (relays, flood prevention) and 30 keypads. Range from sensors to hub in ideal line of sight is up to 4800 metres line of sight.

The sensor suite is comprehensive, with PIR cameras, external and internal sensors, reed switches, smoke sensors, multiple code pads, and internal and external sirens. There’s also an expander for third party sensors.
MPX supports 250 users, 250 security control keys or alarm buttons – each user can have a keypad code, a ‘forced’ code, or users can control the system with the U-Prox Home mobile application.
There’s also an intuitive U-Prox Installer mobile application interface makes the process of customizing U-Prox MPX as convenient as possible.
