ELECTRONIC Security distributor Sektor, has undertaken a series of FLIR training sessions which were conducted by FLIR training manager, Tom Hoffman with support from Sektor’s project & systems engineer, Mike Hardee.

Courses conducted include the FLIR Thermal Certified Professional Course and the FLIR Thermal Professional course, which is a lighter version of the certification training, aimed at consulting engineers.

The courses mark Sektor as a serious player in the electronic security distribution space, according to Sektor’s Tom Kinkade.

“Sektor is a distribution partner that is wholly committed to building the businesses of its integrator customers by facilitating differentiation,” Kinkade said. “Getting this right is a slow process and it’s about building symbiotic relationships with our suppliers and with our integrator customers.

“This FLIR training, which empowers capable technicians and engineers to take their electronic security applications to the next level in terms of operational capacity and high security, is a reflection of Sektor’s commitment to customers and to the development and application of cutting edge security technologies.” ♦
