Senstar FlexZone Perimeter Intrusion Detection Locates Multiple Simultaneous Intrusions.
Senstar FlexZone Perimeter Intrusion Detection – Senstar’s FlexZone detects and locates any attempt to cut, climb or breach fences and accurately locates simultaneous intrusions in the presence of background environmental noise.
Using signals generated by the minute flexing of its loose tube coaxial sensor cable, FlexZone detects and locates movement of the fence or gate. High-speed sampling along with location data ensures that the FlexZone processor captures a precise picture of the fence signal and enables advanced algorithms to discriminate between intrusion signals and distributed environmental noise. This maximises the probability of detection while virtually eliminating nuisance alarms caused by environmental effects such as wind or rain.
When FlexZone sensor cable is installed on swinging gates, the gate can be configured as an independent detection zone. Gate latches can be monitored via FlexZone’s on-board auxiliary input. Sliding gates are typically protected with Senstar’s Wireless Gate Sensor or UltraWave microwave sensor.
FlexZone detects and locates perimeter intrusions over distances of up to 600 metres per processor divided into 60 detection zones and with an accuracy of 3 metres. The system also supports the Senstar Sensor Fusion Engine, an AI-based solution that increases overall site security by providing additional detection and nuisance alarm rejection capabilities for high-risk areas or problematic sections of the perimeter.
FlexZone differentiates between point disturbances caused by real intrusions and spatially distributed disturbances such as wind and rain, and continues protection even in the event of a cable cut. The sensor cable attaches directly to various fence types, and the processor unit is outdoor-rated and can be mounted on a fence post or other surface.
