Shellharbour And Kiama Councils Seek Security Services Across Multiple Facilities.
Shellharbour And Kiama Councils Seek Security – Shellharbour City Council and Kiama Municipal Council are jointly seeking submissions for the provision of a range of security services under a current tender process.
The tender covers routine patrols, alarm monitoring, cash collections, lock and unlock services, and other related functions. The aim is to secure ongoing and consistent security operations across council facilities and services.
Kiama Municipal Council services a population of approximately 23,000 residents across the coastal town of Kiama and surrounding localities including Gerringong, Jamberoo and Minnamurra.
Shellharbour City Council governs a larger urban area to the north, with a population of more than 76,000. Both councils maintain a mix of civic, recreational and administrative facilities requiring regular security coverage.
The combined tender approach is intended to streamline procurement and ensure coordinated security management across both jurisdictions.
Submissions are being accepted electronically through the Shellharbour Council e-tendering portal or by hard copy delivery to the council’s administration centre. Faxed submissions will also be accepted, though email submissions are explicitly excluded.
The councils have advised tenderers to allow sufficient time for electronic uploads, noting that the portal will close automatically at the stated time, with no grace period for incomplete uploads.
This Shellharbour and Kiama Councils seek security tender closes at 10am on June 17 – you can find out more here or read more SEN news here.
