Shellharbour Security Systems is seeking an electronic security technician to maintain, service, install and quote electronic security systems, CCTV systems, TCP/IP networks, access control systems, intercoms and other systems.
The successful aplicant will be experienced with Inner Range, Tecom, CCTV systems and CCTV IP network systems, structured cabling systems, IP and traditional intercom systems, electrical AC/DC principles and circuits, Microsoft/Linux server/desktop operating systems and Microsoft Office products.
The Shellharbour Security team said an attractive remuneration package would be offered to the right candidate based on industry knowledge and experience, and the successful applicant will receive a company vehicle, mobile phone, and laptop.
The applicant must have at least 5 years commercial electronic security experience, be double vaccinated against COVID 19 due to the nature of sites being supported and must always hold the following licences:
* Current valid NSW Driver’s Licence
* Current valid NSW Security Class 2C Licence
* Current valid ACMA Open Cabling Licence
* Construction induction safety certificate (White Card).
The applicant must be reliable and of good character, have a good work ethic, be problem solver, be able to carry out all aspects of electronic security installation, service and maintenance on electronic security and other systems. Be willing to train others and have excellent communication skills, customer service, effective job planning and documentation skills. The role will include travel in NSW and rotational hours.
