SIA New Product Award Winners
♦ 2022’s SIA New Product Award winners were announced at ISC West in Las Vegas recently.
The SIA New Product Award winners were an interesting blend of more traditional electronic security technologies and software-based solutions like analytics, which highlight the continued importance of including quality sensors, locking devices, processors, PCBs and integrated systems to the security operations.
Trends look to be towards analytics, situational awareness, functionality and management at the edge, automation; cloud, convergence and integration; all these supported by secure and reliable network infrastructure.
The Best New Product Award went to Allegion for the LCN 6400 COMPACT Series Operators, the Judges’ Choice Award went to Hakimo Alarm Monitoring 2.0, while the NPS Merit Award went to ASSA ABLOY.
The category awards were extensive and covered everything from CCTV cameras to video analytics, IT infrastructure, environmental monitoring and plenty in between. Category winners included:
