SNP Security
Managing Director, Tom Roche, says the win reinforces SNP’s positioning as a
major security provider for government and other national clients.
“This is a
key win in the government sector,” says Roche. “The contract is a first
for both us and for Customs, in that it’s the first major national manpower
contract secured by SNP Security, and the first time Customs has utilised the
one security provider for all of its sites nationwide.”
SNP’s ACT Branch
will provide central account management for the Australian Customs and Border
Protection Service.
“Our ACT Branch
has lengthy experience in dealing with major government customers, for example,
the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet,” Roche says.
“We’ll be able to
leverage our existing resources and systems specifically built for other
national clients, such as Australia Post, and apply these to provide
first-class security to Customs.”
