These new RAS’ combine advanced functionality, ease of use and elegant styling to what is the most visible element of the customer’s security system. The unit features easily readable LCD text displaying system programming, alarm and access control functions. Also available with a built-in Smart Card Reader that can be used with the Challenger and Alliance Smart Card format, they can eliminate the need for a separate card reader.

The face of the Arming Station displays 16 area status indicator LEDs, while the LCD details alarms or pre-programmed text. The codepad buttons require only gentle finger pressure to achieve full depression, which is indicated by an audible beep.

To navigate through programming and operational features, even in areas where lighting is poor, the backlit screen and buttons highlight the Arming Station for day and night use. The codepad backlit feature is normally programmed to turn off after 4.5 minutes of inactivity, or constantly remain off.
