Surex Secures Fraternity Club With Hikvision And Axis.
Surex Secures Fraternity Club – Surex Security has completed a CCTV upgrade at The Fraternity Club in Fairy Meadow, delivering a modern surveillance system built around new IP cameras and a scalable video management platform.
The work included replacing legacy cameras in the dining and gaming areas, and adding new Hikvision cameras under the club’s front awning. A new Axis camera with people counting, and facial recognition was installed at the club’s main entrance. The project also involved migrating from a local network video recorder to a centralised video management system with future expansion capability.
Founded in 1953 by a group of Italian migrants, The Fraternity Club has grown to become a major venue in the Illawarra. It continues to host a wide range of social and community activities. The upgraded CCTV system is designed to improve operational awareness while supporting the safety of patrons and staff.

Meanwhile, Surex Security provides security, automation, communications, AV, and electrical services to commercial and residential clients across New South Wales and the ACT. The company has been operating for more than 11 years and services sites throughout Sydney, the South Coast, the Central Coast, Canberra, and the Southern Highlands.
