Victoria’s Department of Health is seeking access control, alarms and CCTV for Swan Hill Emergency Department as part of the redevelopment of the SHDH, a sub-regional hospital serving a large area of northern Victoria and south-western New South Wales.
The hospital serves an estimated catchment population of 35,000, including the Swan Hill rural city population of approximately 10,000. It is one of 4 major hospitals in the Loddon Mallee region and provides acute inpatient, rehabilitation, primary care and aged care residence.
SHDH existing clinical services include Emergency Care, Medical Imaging, Medical Services, Elective Surgery, Maternity, Pathology, Pharmacy, Dialysis and Day Oncology, Rehabilitation, Allied / Community Health, General Practitioner Clinic, Mental Health and Aged Care.
The objectives of the overall project are to provide for the safe and sustainable delivery of clinical services in the Swan Hill district through the development of a new emergency department and provision for future development.
