Sydney Opera House Trust, an agency of the New South Wales State Government, is seeking expressions of interest (EOI) for the maintenance of the security systems at Sydney Opera House.

The purpose of this EOI is to shortlist suitable organisations with appropriate security maintenance capability and experience, to be pre-registered and invited to tender for the upcoming Request for Tender (RFT).

Sydney Opera House is a multi-venue performing arts centre on Sydney Harbour located in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It is one of the 20th century’s most famous and distinctive buildings.

Early-mid 2020, Saab Australia signed a contract with the Sydney Opera House Trust to deliver a new integrated security system for the iconic building. The upgrade is built around the Saab OneView Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) system, developed by Saab in South Australia. OneView integrates all the security systems for the building, allowing staff to manage operations through a single intuitive interface.

Sydney Opera House comprises multiple performance venues, which together host well over 1500 performances annually, attended by more than 1.2 million people. As one of the most popular visitor attractions in Australia, the site is visited by more than 8 million people annually, and approximately 350,000 visitors take a guided tour of the building each year.

This tender closes on September 2, 2021 – you can find out more here.
