Sydney Trains Seeks CCTV Maintenance Integration For Sydney Metro and NSW TrainLink.
Sydney Trains Seeks CCTV Maintenance Integration – Transport for NSW agencies, Sydney Trains and NSW TrainLink, have gone to tender seeking experienced and suitably qualified Unified Elite or Elite partners of Genetec to submit proposals for the maintenance, through-life support, integration and project services of their integrated CCTV and help point systems.
Sydney Trains and NSW TrainLink utilize an integrated CCTV system and help point system to ensure the safety and security of passengers during their journey. It is regularly utilized for operational support tasks such as providing passenger information, monitoring crowd levels and network performance, and aiding incident management and response.
Several stand-alone and discrete CCTV systems, including those located on its rolling stock, exist at various maintenance centres, office buildings, and some remote locations, such as level crossings. CCTV monitoring is available locally at each station or facility. It is also routinely used by corporate business units investigating safety incidents, customer complaints, criminal offences, and performance issues.
The required system maintenance and project services being procured encompasses maintenance and support services, management and administration services, and works services. Works services include additional services requested by the principal, such as MAC works, project works, and integration works. Project works involve setting up the system at a new site and modifying or decommissioning an existing site.
Apart from project works, this RFP also covers the preventive maintenance of cameras, help points, and Level 2/3 corrective maintenance activities. All applicants must comply with the NSW Government Policy Framework here.
