Taswater Releases RFP For Physical Security Strategy

TasWater is seeking submissions from suitably qualified and experienced parties to submit a proposal for a physical security strategy.

TasWater has a requirement for the provision of a consultant to develop risk-based physical security strategy. This will include water treatment plants, sewage treatment plants, reservoirs and dams. The primary objective of this engagement is to develop a risk-based physical security strategy for each of the asset classes within scope.

Further details are provided in the RFP document pack. Responses are required in a PDF, Excel or WINZIP format only and must be lodged via the electronic tender box by the closing time of 2pm, 20 December 2021.

TasWater requests suppliers not contact staff within TasWater for additional information and says such approaches compromise the integrity of the process and may impact your potential involvement in the process.

TasWater is Tasmania’s water and sewage utility. It is responsible for providing drinking water across the state, as well as collecting and treating sewage. The organisation is co-owned by Tasmania’s 29 local governments and manages assets worth more than $A2 billion.

This tender closes December 20 – you can find out more here.
