Telstra Swoops On 5G Spectrum With Half-Billion War Chest.

Telstra Swoops On 5G – Telstra has swooped on $A546.6 million worth of 5G spectrum at the latest Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) auction.

The key element of the auction for electronic security people is increased bandwidth and enhanced coverage in key locations supporting the industry’s growing cloud component.

These latest purchases covered the 3.4-3.7GHz spectrum, enabling Australia’s biggest telcos to provide enhanced 4G and 5G coverage in metro and regional centres across the country.
