Vale Stephen Beard – The management and staff of Dallmeier and Australian electronic security distributor C.R. Kennedy are mourning former director of C.R. Kennedy, Stephen Beard, who passed away recently.
“For almost 3 decades, Stephen was not only a trusted business partner, but also a driving force in our joint success story,” Dallmeier wrote in recent remembrance.
“His strategic skills, vision and tireless efforts have been instrumental in the development and execution of our business ventures in Asia.
“Thanks to his commitment and expertise, we were able to take a leading position in the international casino security market – a pioneering role that we still have for over 20 years and in which Stephen played a major role, especially in the early days.
“Stephen Beard was more than a brilliant entrepreneur, he was a man of exceptional integrity, loyalty and vision. His advice was valued, his humour was infectious and enriching, and his treatment of others was always respectful and warm. He will be remembered with gratitude.
“Our deepest sympathy goes to his family, friends and all those who knew and loved him.”
According to Vlado Damjanovski of Optic Security, Beard was a digital visionary, instrumental in early digital casino surveillance solutions, including the Sydney Star.
“Stephen was an exceptional business man, director at CR Kennedy, and a brilliant operator with a vision for business,” Damjanovski said.
“Most of all, he was loved and respected by all, as a friend and colleague. He had a quiet nature, but was capable of solving any problem that a business, an employee or a project had.”
