VICPOL Seeks Surveillance Detection Equipment For Multiple Sites.

VICPOL Seeks Surveillance Detection – Victoria Police, as part of the 2022/2023 Financial Year Capital Funding, is seeking to procure Security Surveillance Equipment for the roll out at various police stations as required.

According to the tender, these new security surveillance assets will improve security and safety requirements across multiple Victoria Police sites and regions.

The project is seeking to appoint a security integrator as head contractor to procure, upgrade and maintain security surveillance assets to various Victoria Police Sites across the state under a staged roll out of works. The list of works and sites will be prioritised by the Victoria Police to meet the ongoing security equipment needs as required for small (8-hr), medium (16-hr) and larger (24-hr) facilities.

Victoria Police is the primary law enforcement agency of the Australian state of Victoria. It was formed in 1853, has over 22,300 staff, 333 police stations and a budget of $A3.76 billion. Between 31 July 2018 and 18 July 2019, Victoria Police recorded 514,398 offences, an increase of 1.5 per cent from the previous year.

This tender closes May 26 at 6pm, so if you’re interested, you’ll have to hurry. You can find out more about VICPOL Seeks Surveillance Detection tender here or read more SEN news here.
