Victorian Electric Fencing has installed a monitored electric fence solution integrated with an access control and alarm system for a bus transport company in Melbourne, Victoria.
According to Victorian Electric Fencing’s Luke Lovell, the 2.4m-high 24-strand Nemtek monitored electric fencing protecting the bus yard is the perfect first line of defence for applications needing protection for high value items around large perimeters.
Nemtek electric fence energizers have a detecting feature which produces an alarm when the protected perimeter has been breached or tampered with. By using an electric fence, the attempted break-in of the protected area can be delayed, giving additional time for a reaction team to respond to the breach.
