VIVOTEK Integrates Deep Search AI With Network Optix Nx VMS Enabling Advanced Video Search To Be Used Directly Within The Nx Interface.
VIVOTEK Integrates Deep Search AI With Network Optix Nx – VIVOTEK has integrated its Deep Search AI plugin with the Network Optix Nx video management platform, enabling advanced video search capabilities to be used directly within the Nx interface.
The integration allows VIVOTEK AI cameras to deliver edge-based search intelligence inside the Nx environment, allowing operators to investigate events and analyse recorded video without leaving their existing video management workflow.
According to VIVOTEK vice president OBM business group, Shengfu Cheng, the integration is intended to make AI-driven investigation tools easier to access within established surveillance platforms.
“By embedding Edge AI intelligence directly into the Nx platform, we empower customers to accelerate investigations, enhance situational awareness, maximize the value of their existing infrastructure, and improve operational efficiency,” Cheng said.
“As AI adoption in security operations accelerates, interoperability and scalability are essential. This integration reinforces VIVOTEK’s commitment to enabling proactive, data-driven security strategies.”
The Deep Search plugin introduces a range of video search functions designed to assist operators when reviewing recorded footage.
Scene search allows users to draw smart video content analysis rules directly on recorded video to identify events such as intrusion, line crossing or loitering, even when those rules were not configured as alarms at the time the footage was recorded.
Attribute search enables filtering of video results based on characteristics such as person or vehicle type, clothing colour or accessories, allowing investigators to narrow results when searching large volumes of video.
A further function, re-search, allows users to select a detected face or body vector from initial results and track that individual across multiple camera streams be introduced soon.
Network Optix vice president business development and marketing James Cox said the integration highlights the role of open video management platforms in supporting AI-enabled security systems.
“VIVOTEK’s Deep Search integration is a strong example of what an open platform enables: giving customers more choice in how they apply Edge AI while staying within the Nx interface and the workflows they already rely on,” Cox said.
“With the plugin, teams can add VIVOTEK’s search capabilities quickly and scale across deployments without adding complexity.”
The plugin is available through the Nx Marketplace and is designed for deployment by system integrators and enterprise users operating Network Optix-based surveillance systems. More details about VIVITEK here and read more SEN news here.
