JCI Bringing C•CURE IQ Security & Event Management To SecTech 2026 – See It Tomorrow In Brisbane!

JCI Bringing C•CURE IQ Security & Event Management To SecTech – Johnson Controls will showcase its C•CURE IQ security and event management platform at SecTech 2026.

SecTech opens in Brisbane tomorrow May 12, followed by Sydney on May 14, Melbourne on May 19, Adelaide on May 21 and Perth on May 26 – register here for your city!

The C•CURE IQ system is a unified access control and video solution designed to deliver improved operator awareness and faster and more informed decision-making. It combines access control and video into a single interface designed to streamline monitoring and response.

The platform integrates natively with American Dynamics VideoEdge NVRs and supports integrations with Exacq and Illustra, enabling live monitoring, forensic search and analytics within a unified environment.

A key operational focus of the system is reducing alarm overload in large deployments. The platform’s JCI Security Intelligence capability introduces dynamic alarm prioritisation based on rules and risk scoring, alongside tools such as spatial insights and occupancy dashboards that translate system activity into operational information. The aim is to reduce nuisance alarms and give operators clearer direction on where to focus attention.

The interface has been designed around operator roles, with configurable layouts, simplified navigation and features such as Swipe & Show, which links access events with associated video for rapid verification. Identity and access to the platform itself is managed through single sign-on and two-factor authentication.

Deployment flexibility is a core part of the offering, with support for on-premises, hybrid and cloud environments. For organisations moving towards SaaS, C•CURE Cloud provides a single-tenant architecture with managed services including monitoring, backup and controlled upgrades, built on Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS.

The platform also includes a high-assurance option aimed at environments with stricter compliance requirements, allowing organisations to meet higher security standards without moving away from a unified operating interface.

C•CURE IQ is also designed to integrate with iSTAR controllers and a broader ecosystem of third-party systems, providing a migration path for existing C•CURE 9000 users while supporting expansion into larger, more complex deployments.
