Greyhound Racing Victoria Plans Major CCTV Upgrade – Greyhound Racing Victoria is preparing to tender for the design, supply, installation, commissioning and ongoing support of a CCTV recording, management and access platform across 13 metropolitan and regional racetrack venues.
GRV’s ‘Tracks CCTV Upgrade and Maintenance Program’ will replace or upgrade GRV’s CCTV recording, management and access platform across all venues, with the successful contractor also providing ongoing support under a service level agreement.
According to GRV’s tender release, CCTV installed at its racetracks serves an evidentiary purpose. The 13 venues operate as live racing environments and support race meetings, trials, kennelling, veterinary examinations and sample collection.
The scope includes design of the Tracks CCTV solution, supply, installation and commissioning, followed by ongoing support. GRV said it was seeking a supplier with suitable experience across each of these areas.

Greyhound Racing Victoria is the statutory body responsible for regulating and promoting greyhound racing in Victoria under the Racing Act 1958.
