WatchGuardian Health From Connectified Monitors Health Data

WatchGuardian Health From Connectified Monitors Health Data From Samsung Galaxy Wearables.

WatchGuardian Health From Connectified Monitors Health Data – Connectified IoT has introduced WatchGuardian Health, a health monitoring platform that uses Samsung Galaxy wearables to capture and report live health data without requiring a paired mobile phone.

The platform is designed for clinical care, aged care, medical research, corporate health and personal wellbeing applications.

Sampling intervals, measurement accuracy, supported Galaxy models and any therapeutic-goods (TGA) status are not stated in the release — confirm with the vendor before specifying for clinical use. “Bio-impedance” and “surface reading” are SEN’s descriptive glosses on how Galaxy wearables take these measurements, not Connectified’s wording.

WatchGuardian Health captures ECG, heart rate, blood oxygen, body composition and skin temperature data in real time. Data is transmitted directly from the watch to the web-based WatchGuardian platform, allowing authorised users to access live information and historical records without a phone being required.

The platform provides automated data collection and historical record storage, with detailed, time-stamped reports that can be scheduled and exported for clinical or research use. Multiple users, watches and devices can be managed through a single dashboard, supporting applications ranging from individual monitoring through to larger healthcare and wellness programs.

Security is provided through Samsung Knox, with the platform designed to protect health data and communications. The system is also intended to operate independently of a paired smartphone, providing a dedicated monitoring capability while retaining the security features of the Samsung wearable platform.

How the data movesThe phone drops out of the loop
Most wearable health data reaches a dashboard by way of a paired handset. Connectified’s pitch is the direct route: watch to web platform, with Samsung Knox carrying the security.

Who sees it: the release names healthcare providers (clinical assessment), aged-care carers and families (visibility), and researchers (trials and longitudinal studies). Multiple users, watches and devices are managed from a single dashboard.
SEN reading of the release. The diagram is a schematic of the described data path, not a network architecture. Not stated: how the watch connects without a phone (LTE Galaxy model, Wi-Fi, or both), where the platform’s data is hosted, and whether the browser dashboard supports role-based access. The red cross marks the phone as “not required” per Connectified, not as blocked.

For healthcare providers, the live data capability provides access to patient information that can assist with clinical assessment and decision-making. In aged care, continuous monitoring can provide carers and families with additional visibility, while medical researchers can use the captured data for clinical trials and longitudinal studies.

The system is designed to scale from individual users to larger deployments, with applications spanning hospitals and clinics, aged care, research institutions, corporate wellness programs and everyday health monitoring.

Before you specify · SEN's open questionsWhat the release doesn't answer yet
  • Which Galaxy watch models are supported — and is an LTE model required for phone-free operation?
  • Is WatchGuardian Health listed with the TGA, or positioned as a wellness (non-diagnostic) tool?
  • Where is health data hosted, and does it stay onshore for Australian aged-care and clinical customers?
  • How is the platform licensed — per watch, per user, or per site?
Questions are SEN editorial, not drawn from the release. Platform facts above are as published by Connectified IoT.

WatchGuardian Health features include:

  • Independent operation without a paired mobile phone
  • Live ECG, heart rate, blood oxygen, body composition and skin temperature data
  • Web-based monitoring and historical records
  • Automated, time-stamped reporting and data export
  • Samsung Knox security
  • Multi-user and multi-device management
  • Applications across clinical care, aged care, research and wellness.
