Tecom Discovery 4G TSX16000 Communications Module – Tecom Discovery TSX16000 4G Communications Module is an LTE Cat 4 cellular communications path for Discovery security systems, supporting alarm reporting, remote configuration and connections to compatible Tecom management software.

Designed to install alongside a Discovery control panel, the compact module is DIN rail mounted on the TSX-DINRAIL and connects directly to the panel using a single USB-C cable carrying power and data.

The module can operate as the primary or secondary communications path and provides an always-on, constantly polled connection, with communications sent and received immediately, subject to cellular network availability and quality.

Discovery 4G supports alarm reporting to compatible control rooms, as well as upload and download of panel configurations. Supported software includes WMS Pro 3.1, Tecom Web Management System 2.6, Tecom IP Receiver 2.6, CTPlus 3.6 and all versions of UltraSync. The module is supplied UltraSync-ready.

Hardware compatibility includes Tecom Discovery TSX-2 series control panels. Cellular connectivity is provided over LTE Cat 4, with 2 MicroSIM slots and an SMA antenna connection.

The module measures 90 x 62 x 17mm and weighs 135g. Operating current is 53mA at idle and 114mA peak, with an operating temperature range of 0-50C and relative humidity tolerance of 0-90 per cent non-condensing. Australian regulatory compliance is ACMA RCM.

There are 3 versions available with the TSX16000 supplied without SIM cards, the TSX16000-AU including Telstra and Vodafone SIM cards for Australia, while the TSX16000-NZ includes a Vodafone SIM card for Kiwi applications.
