SNP’S Type 1
solution was implemented in response to the announced closure of Telstra’s
leased direct line service, and changes in statutory Government standards,
codes and legislations in light of developments in technology.
SNP Security general manager, Electronic Security, John Fleming, says SNP’s Type 1
Monitoring Solution is unique, and offers many technological advantages
including high level data encryption from the client site right through to the
monitoring centre.
“Our new
Type 1 Monitoring Solution provides a very high level of security monitoring
designed specifically to fit the requirements of government departments and
other high security institutions,” says John.
“Type 1
Monitoring is a highly specialised area, and not many companies offer this
monitoring solution as we now do.
“At SNP
Security we’ve completely integrated the Type 1 Monitoring into our Grade A1
Monitoring Centre, expanding our suite of solutions: another benefit for our
expanding customer base.”
SNP’s Type 1
remote monitoring service is SCEC (Security Construction and Equipment
Committee) endorsed and provides a total transparent high level alarm
monitoring integration for all system and zone alarms, events and user
transactions.
The remote
integration uses a Telstra Remote Telemetry Dual Path site service (ADSL +
Next-G) connection between the client and the SNP Grade 1 monitoring centre,
meaning that the data transmissions are encrypted and the line connection is
polled.
