Janine King has been appointed chief people & culture officer for Hills Australia and New Zealand, based in Sydney.
Janine brings to Hills extensive experience as a people and culture leader with a career spanning 2 decades across ASX listed and high profile Australian companies including supply chain logistics and healthcare software.
King, who is passionate about building high performing teams, focussing on effective outcomes for the business with strategic human resources initiatives, said she was delighted to join Hills and was looking forward to building the capability and engagement of the Hills’ team.
“We must have the right culture and right plan to meet the expectations of our customers and deliver on our strategy,” King said.
CEO David Clarke welcomed Janine on behalf of the Hills’ team.
“Throughout her career, Janine has focused on nurturing a workplace where people are trusted, own their results, and work as a team to deliver those results,” Clarke said. “I look forward to Janine building on what we have today to create a strong culture as a foundation for our future.”
Janine started on July 12, and takes the reigns from Tony Russo, who has been an integral part of the business for the past 8 years. Russo will retire at the end of the month.
