Tecom’s TS0006 is an access control keypad for the Challenger control panel. Typically used to authenticate user access to a door, the keypad can easily be used for arming/disarming areas as well.
Challenger access keypads can be connected at a distance of 1.5kms from either the Challenger panel via the RS-485 LAN for simple door control, or via an intelligent access controller for comprehensive access control functionality.
The TS0006 is a heavy-duty keypad primarily designed for outdoor use. It provides PIN based user access to a door, or basic alarm functionality to secure an area or the entire system.
The strong metal construction of the TS0006 ensures its strength and durability. The keys and housing are stainless steel, and it is designed to resist weather and vandalism. The heavy-duty keypad is flush mounted, and the electronics are separated to ensure the maximum resistance against vandalism or sabotage.
The unit can be mounted on brick, metal work or in a custom enclosure and is supplied in kit form to accommodate these mounting options. Like the electronics the LED indicators are provided separately to be mounted in the area of the keypad or in a different more secure area.
