City of Holdfast Bay in South Australia is seeking a contractor to provide an upgrade of its existing CCTV server hardware and operator workstations.

The project includes supply and install of new cameras, and integration of existing IP cameras into the upgraded system, as detailed in the scope of works, specifications, and drawings.

Centred in Glenelg and expanded in 2011 and again in 2014, the CCTV system was originally designed to ‘easily identify any persons that may commit crimes in the area with the CCTV footage’. Funding was allocated from a $5 million ‘Safer Suburbs’ program undertaken by the Federal Government.

This new tender closes March 25 – you can find out more here.
