Advanced Security Group Wins Port Macquarie-Hastings Council Contract.

Advanced Security Group Wins Port Macquarie – Advanced Security Group has been awarded the security services contract for Port Macquarie-Hastings Council.

From an operational perspective, the contract win reflects increasing demand from regional councils for integrated security capability combining electronic systems, field services and ongoing maintenance within a trusted single delivery model.

The contract secures Advanced Security Group’s role supporting council security operations across a growing regional footprint, covering monitoring, patrol, response and technical security services for council-managed assets and community facilities.

Advanced Security Group operates across multiple regional centres in New South Wales, including Port Macquarie, Coffs Harbour, Newcastle and Tamworth, delivering alarm monitoring, mobile patrols, alarm response and technical security services to commercial and government clients.

Chris Dyson of Advanced Security Group said the win reflects long-term investment in capability and delivery.

“We’re obviously thrilled to have been awarded the contract, but more than anything it’s recognition of the work our team has been putting in for a long time,” Dyson said. “Everyone across the business has contributed to getting us to this point, and they deserve the credit.

“It’s certainly an important milestone for our business but it’s also validation that the investments we’ve made in our people, systems and regional footprint are paying off. We’ve been very deliberate about building a business that’s capable of delivering large-scale security solutions while maintaining the responsiveness and personal service that regional clients value.”

Dyson said the team was excited about where the business is heading.

“Having said that, we’re not interested in growing for the sake of growth,” he said. “Instead, we want to continue building long-term relationships with clients who value quality service and who will invest in our people so we can keep delivering at a high standard.

According to Dyson, contracts are great milestones, but they don’t define a business.

“What defines a business is how it turns up every day once the excitement has passed,” he said. “Our team understands that winning the contract is just the beginning and the real measure of success is the service we deliver over the years that follow.

“We’re genuinely humbled by the confidence Port Macquarie-Hastings Council has continued to place in us. Having worked alongside council for more than 20 years, it’s a relationship we’re incredibly proud of, and one we remain committed to strengthening through the service we deliver every day.”
