Aritech WMS Pro 3.0 Adds Functionality, Improves Operator Tools And Resolves Core Issues.

Aritech WMS Pro 3.0 Adds Functionality – Aritech has released version 3.0.80367 of WMS Pro, its web-based management suite for Tecom security and access control systems.

We like these releases from Aritech – there’s always heaps of new features and plenty of honest resolutions of issues raised by users. Developed in Australia, WMS Pro supports installations from single sites to complex enterprise networks. The latest release expands platform capabilities with new operational tools, reporting enhancements, extended device support, licensing improvements, and multiple resolved issues affecting reliability and usability.

WMS Pro 3.0 introduces integrated site maps that allow operators to visualise device status, access alarms, and control devices across a customised facility layout. The interface supports navigation between maps and device control from a single view, streamlining response and situational awareness for all user roles.

Automation tools have been added, enabling actions based on events or schedules. This includes report generation, system controls and device interactions, offering operators and administrators options for unattended task execution and consistency across routine operations.

Device asset tracking has been implemented. Details including model, installation date, and service schedule can now be logged alongside each device record, aiding fault response and preventative maintenance planning. WMS Pro now also supports region-based cardholder management, allowing real-time visibility of cardholder presence for applications such as muster reports and regional access analysis.

Reporting has been extended with templates for re-use, and new reports covering asset tracking, inactive cardholders and region occupancy. These reports can be triggered manually, on a schedule, or via system events.

Inactive cardholder monitoring is now available, allowing the system to flag or automatically void unused credentials after a defined period of inactivity. Operator accounts are now managed via concurrent (floating) seat-based licensing, enabling unlimited account creation while enforcing a limit on simultaneous access.

New Feature Summary

  • Live site maps with device status and control
  • Event- and time-based automation tools
  • Integrated asset tracking and service history
  • Region occupancy tracking and management
  • New reports, templates, and report automation
  • Inactive cardholder monitoring and auto-voiding
  • Seat-based operator licensing for concurrent logins.

Aritech WMS Pro 3.0 Improvements

WMS Pro 3.0 includes improved SQL database support during installation and introduces a new 60-day trial license of the Standard Edition with one cardholder API license, replacing the previous Lite-only trial. This change is designed to facilitate better evaluation and streamline data migration from other platforms.

Two-factor authentication now supports third-party OTP apps including Google Authenticator and Authy. Operators can now interact with dashboard widgets to perform filtered navigation and control tasks, reducing friction during workflows.

Additional controller types are supported, including direct connections for ChallengerLEPlus panels and network access controllers. Report duration handling has been refined to allow configurable time spans rather than fixed start and end timestamps.

Alarm response has been improved with quick-action controls and real-time device feedback. Full-screen alarm alerts can be enforced for priority events, such as duress, helping ensure operator focus. Cardholder records can now store custom notes, and new permissions options allow access groups to be restricted by region when assigning them via cardholder access groups (CAGs) and user access groups (UAGs).

Updates to CTPlus now allow conversion from 4DC to NAC mode when connected under WMS Pro, and time zones are now correctly retrieved. Backend services have been adjusted to improve controller connectivity and communication reliability.

Improvement Summary

  • Enhanced SQL connectivity in installer
  • New full-featured 60-day Standard Edition trial
  • OTP-based 2FA with third-party app support
  • Interactive dashboard widgets and alarm handling
  • Direct support for ChallengerLEPlus and NAC controllers
  • Configurable report durations
  • Real-time alarm response with device actions
  • Region-based access group assignment
  • Improved backend panel communications
  • Updated CTPlus functionality for NAC mode.

Aritech WMS Pro 3.0 Resolved Issues

WMS Pro 3.0 resolves issues affecting system stability, API behaviour, and data integrity. Fixes include corrections to database migration processes, credential validation, region deletion handling, and the representation of data during bulk operations.

Alarm events generated from floor plans now trigger correctly, and issues with importing cardholder names into deleted records have been resolved. Other fixes address display errors affecting custom logos, site code headers, and language localisation for manually generated reports. CTPlus command queues now render correctly in WMS Pro mode.

Resolved Issues Summary

  • Fixed DB migration errors on upgrade
  • Alarm generation from floor events now reliable
  • API documentation type corrections
  • Credential import and validation fixes
  • Logo display issues resolved
  • Accurate progress counts for bulk actions
  • Locale-based report generation corrected
  • Region deletion errors fixed
  • CTPlus queue and NAC timezone fixes applied.
