Hikvision Reports 3.53 Per Cent Growth For last Calendar Year.

Hikvision Reports 3.53 Per Cent Growth – Hikvision has released its audited financial results for the full year ending December 31, 2024, along with preliminary data for the first quarter of 2025.

The company reported total revenue of RMB 92.496 billion in 2024, a year-on-year increase of 3.53 per cent. Net profit attributable to shareholders rose to RMB 2.039 billion in Q1 2025, reflecting a 6.41 per cent year-on-year increase, with quarterly revenue at RMB 18.532 billion, up 4.01 per cent.

The company’s overseas markets continued to contribute significantly to its performance. Revenue from international business reached RMB 25.989 billion in 2024, accounting for 28.1 per cent of total revenue and representing growth of 8.39 per cent over the previous year. More than 70 per cent of this total came from developing regions, with Hikvision’s products and services now present in over 180 countries and territories.

Hikvision’s innovation segment also reported strong growth. Revenue from these business lines reached RMB 22.484 billion in 2024, driven in part by advances in AIoT technologies and the rollout of scenario-based digitalisation tools. This includes continued development of the company’s Guanlan large-scale AI model platform, which integrates vision, language, and multimodal processing to improve detection and analysis accuracy. According to the company, perimeter protection systems leveraging this model have achieved up to a 90 per cent reduction in false alarms.

The company invested RMB 11.864 billion in research and development in 2024, equivalent to 12.83 per cent of its total revenue. This supports a multi-tiered R&D structure centred on the company’s headquarters and extended across domestic and international sites.

Hikvision said in its reporting that management remains focused on improving profitability through organisational restructuring, enhanced management processes, and a strategy aimed at long-term sustainability.
