Botanic Gardens And Parks Authority Seeks Mobile CCTV – Western Australia’s Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority (BGPA) is seeking a contractor to supply, install, commission and provide training for 2 CCTV mobile trailer platforms for use across its managed parks and facilities in Perth.

According to tender release, the platforms must be capable of being towed by vehicle across roads, footpaths and sand tracks, and will incorporate high-end PTZ, licence plate recognition and general security CCTV equipment. The systems are to be powered by battery and solar, with equipment configured for monitoring both on site and remotely. The tender also requires the systems and software to support future technology upgrades.

The BGPA is responsible for the care, control and management of Kings Park and Botanic Garden and Bold Park, which together provide 842 hectares of public open space. Kings Park includes the Western Australian Botanic Garden, while Bold Park is a large urban bushland reserve. Biodiversity Conservation Dept.

Kings Park is one of Perth’s major visitor destinations, recording more than 5 million visits in 2023, while Bold Park recorded an estimated 340000 visits. BGPA-managed land also includes internal roads, recreation areas, venues, heritage assets and significant natural bushland. BGPA

The tender requires mobile CCTV platforms to provide a deployable surveillance capability across this distributed park environment, with the combination of PTZ, LPR, solar and battery power allowing the systems to operate remotely as required.

The Botanic Gardens And Parks Authority seeks mobile CCTV tender closes at 2.30pm WA time on November 10 – you can learn more here or read more SEN news here.
