City of Moreton Bay CCTV Integration, Break Fix And Maintenance Tender Released.
City of Moreton Bay CCTV Integration – City of Moreton Bay has released a tender for CCTV integration, break fix and maintenance services, with submissions closing at 2pm on 8 May 2026. The contract covers support and ongoing development of the council’s public safety video surveillance solution across the Moreton Bay local government area.
Scope of works centres on integration, fault rectification and maintenance of a large-scale surveillance network comprising nearly1900 fixed, PTZ and mobile cameras. The system is supported by a dedicated 24-hour security control room and extends across council facilities, incorporating access control and alarm systems.
The tender requirement suggests ongoing optimisation of camera deployments, system interoperability and reliability across a distributed estate, alongside responsive break-fix services to maintain operational continuity in a live operational environment that is run in tandem with QPS.

CCTV integration services indicate council is seeking capability to expand or refine its existing platform to better cover operational concerns, potentially involving upgrades, system extensions or improved integration between CCTV, access control and alarm monitoring.
This is a big CCTV solution – one of Australia’s largest. Supported by federal funding, the system includes fixed cameras and portable, locally manufactured poles designed for rapid deployment, including for monitoring, crime deterrence, and traffic management. The council utilises locally designed, portable CCTV trailers for flexible deployment to tackle crime hotspots and manage natural disaster risks like flooding.

Cameras are deployed in public spaces to improve security. The network serves as a tool for deterring, detecting, and prosecuting offences. A $A1.5 million federal funding package in 2025 supported expansion of this CCTV infrastructure.
The planned maintenance requirements will include preventative servicing, fault diagnosis and repair, with performance expectations tied to uptime and response across critical public safety infrastructure, which is managed in concert with QPS.

Moreton Bay is the third-largest local government area in Australia, covering approximately, 2037 square kilometres with a population forecast to reach 533,000 by 2031.
