Edith Cowan University Seeks VMS Replacement And Camera Audit.

Edith Cowan University Seeks VMS Replacement – Edith Cowan University has gone to tender seeking an audit of its security cameras and a VMS replacement.

According to the tender release, Edith Cowan University (ECU) needs to replace its existing IndigoVision VMS with a Milestone Xprotect platform. This new system will be interconnected with the separate Milestone Xprotect system being implemented at ECU’s new City Campus.

PERMACONN

Edith Cowan University is seeking responses from suitably qualified and experienced suppliers to complete 2 separable stages of work – the first to audit the current cameras and network video recorders.

The second stage is to implement, configure, and integrate a Milestone Xprotect system across all existing ECU campuses, including Mt Lawley, as a temporary measure during relocation to City Campus, and to connect VMS to the separate Milestone Xprotect VMS installed at the new ECU City Campus.

Edith Cowan University is Western Australia’s second largest university, with around 30,000 students and 1000 teaching staff. ECU currently has 3 metropolitan campuses – Joondalup, Mt Lawley and the new City Campus in Perth CBD – and a regional campus at Bunbury.

This Edith Cowan University seeks VMS replacement tender closes on February 6 – you can learn more here or read more SEN news here.
