IN a move which highlights the company’s future direction, Australia's largest electronic security business, Hills Ltd, changed its Global Industry Classification (GIC) code to Information Technology from the commencement of trading on Wednesday, 1 October 2014.
“The S&P and ASX reclassification of Hills to the GIC Information Technology sector (Technology Hardware and Equipment) represents a key step towards recognition by the financial markets that we are now a different company operating within the technology growth sector,” said Ted Pretty, Hills group managing director and CEO.
