Maniatis Looking Forward to Driving SecTech Camera Shootout

TAS Maniatis says he’s looking forward to driving the VMS in each city at SecTech Camera Shootout, which is sponsored by CSD and Milestone Systems.

“I’ve seen SecTech Camera Shootout a couple of times, but this is the first chance I’ve had to be directly involved in the process,” Maniatis said. “It’s unusual to have so many leading brands running in a single Milestone XProtect Corporate application simultaneously – 11 manufacturers and nearly 30 cameras – I can’t wait!”

According to CSD’s Mark Edwards, assessing the functionality of Ipsotek’s face recognition and LPR capability will be another big highlight of SecTech Camera Shootout for integrators and end users.

“We’re really excited about putting cutting-edge software solutions and the latest surveillance cameras together at SecTech Camera Shootout,” Edwards said. “It’s simply not an event to be missed.”

SecTech Camera Shootout takes place at SecTech Roadshow, which will visit 5 Australian state capitals during May.

SecTech revs up in Melbourne on May 8, Brisbane May 10, Sydney May 15, Adelaide May 27, before finishing in every exhibitors’ favourite city, Perth, on May 23.

Exhibitors include CSD, Pelco, Honeywell, Video Alarm Technologies, Bosch, Dahua, ISCS, Video Security Products, Consolidated Security Merchants, C. R. Kennedy, OSA, Seadan, BGW Technologies, Q Security Systems, Mobotix, Vivotek, LSC, Hikvision and ICT.
