New ASSA Abloy TS1000 Software Streamlines SMARTair.
New ASSA Abloy TS1000 Software – ASSA Abloy’s new TS1000 software streamlines management of the SMARTair wireless access control system.
Access management of large of multi-site solutions based around a network of dedicated admin PCs can be expensive and time consuming – software must be installed, maintained, and updated on each PC.
“There is a better way to manage access,” says Mikel Gaztañaga, SMARTair sales director at ASSA Abloy Opening Solutions. “Changing how you filter the flow of people helps facilities teams respond faster and get more done.”
“This is why we created TS1000 Web for our SMARTair suite – it offers simpler, faster, more flexible control of an entire SMARTair access system, including wireless locks for multiple types of opening and a wide choice of credentials.”
TS1000 Web provides full remote control of a SMARTair system via secure web login. Facilities managers and security administrators no longer need to stay at their desks or wait beside the admin PC. Wherever they are, day or night, TS1000 delivers secure, round-the-clock access management. Getting started with TS1000 Web is simple. There’s no local software to install and no labourious PC-by-PC upgrading. Software is installed just once: on the server.
From the TS1000 Web interface, a security team can cancel any credential, at any time, or update access rights over the air. From any login point, TS1000 Web connects securely to the system database. A device with a web browser and a URL is all that’s needed. Processing, analysing, and updating data is faster than with conventional client-based software.

From the TS1000 Web interface, a security team can cancel any credential, at any time, or update access rights over the air. Full remote control gives facilities managers the power to unlock any door remotely, respond to alerts faster, or even initiate a global lockdown in an emergency.
There are SMARTair locks and other devices to secure just about any opening, in all kinds of buildings. There are escutcheons and cylinders to fit interior and exterior doors; wall readers to control access to lifts, high-traffic entrance doors, and car parks; while cabinet locks ensure documents or medicines are safe and fully monitored within the main access control platform.
SMARTair also gives users a choice of credentials, so they can open doors securely with a fob or mobile phone, as well as a standard access cards. Lost or stolen keys can be cancelled or reissued instantly. SMARTair mobile solutions give security administrators the ability to open electronic door locks remotely — from the palm of their hand, from anywhere.
With ASSA Abloy’s Bluetooth-powered Openow app, site users receive virtual keys on a smartphone, so there’s no need to visit a security office to update their credential.
