New Jack Fuse Electronic Break Glass With Remote And Automatic Emergency Door Reset.
New Jack Fuse Electronic Break Glass – Jack Fuse pre-released its Electronic Break Glass (EBG) at SAGE last November and the team reports that stock has now arrived.
Jack Fuse Electronic Glass Break is a remotely and automatically resettable emergency door release, eliminating the need for manual resets and reducing unnecessary downtime. The EBG combines audible and visual alerts to discourage nuisance activations and significantly enhances security by limiting the time doors remain unlocked.
Featuring automatic, remote, and local reset options, it provides immediate operational and security benefits, particularly for high-security sites, remote facilities, and managed buildings. Applications include emergency door release, electric locks, automatic doors, gates, high-security sites, remote facilities, and managed buildings.
Automatic reset uses door lock power and resets when lock power cycles (e.g., after card use or scheduled access changes); remote reset is activated by a dedicated control voltage that’s controlled via switch, relay, or key switch, while local reset is activated using a concealed reset button or by cycling lock power locally. Multiple reset options can be combined, allowing flexible deployment tailored to site-specific requirements.

The EBG features the same mounting footprint as traditional manual reset break glass units, simplifying upgrades. No additional cabling is needed when utilizing existing lock power. The unit includes a tamper switch to detect both case openings and wall removal, enhancing security against unauthorized interference.
Key features include automatic, remote, and local reset options, a lift-up activation guard, built-in tamper detection, back-lit status indicators, adjustable brightness and volume, a local override switch, a pair of 3A relay contacts, simple retrofit installation, and a standard break glass mounting pattern.
Technical specifications include voltage of 12 and 24V DC, current draw of 55mA at 12V DC, dimensions of 86 x 86 x 40mm (including guard), a pair of 3A SPDT relays, 40,000 operations, construction from polycarbonate, polyamide 46, and fiberglass, with charcoal housing and a green facia.
