New Suprema BioStar Air Cloud Access Control With Edge Architecture.

New Suprema BioStar Air – Suprema BioStar Air is a fully cloud-native access control platform.

Built with edge architecture, the system eliminates the need for local servers, virtual machines, VPNs, or traditional door controllers. Smart Readers connect directly to the cloud, enabling access control without IT maintenance or shared local networks.

BioStar Air supports management of multiple sites through a single platform. Whether for head offices, warehouses, or remote facilities, all locations can be administered centrally.

Credential flexibility is a key feature, with support for face authentication, RFID, mobile credentials on iOS and Android, and app-free QR-based access. Fingerprint and Apple Wallet support will be added in future updates.

With access control intelligence built directly into the Smart Readers, Suprema says BioStar Air provides a scalable solution that allows customers to start with minimal hardware and expand as needed without extensive upgrades.

BioStar Air (formerly airfob) is distributed solely by the Security Alliance, which includes Zankap (NSW), NAS (QLD), SDA (WA) and NSS (VIC).
