NIDAC Seeks Counter Sales
♦ NIDAC seeks counter sales team member to join one of the Australian security industry’s first access control and alarm manufacturers in a full-time role based at Burwood in Melbourne.
The ideal candidate will have solid experience in sales and technical support of security products or those in allied industries such as electrical wholesale. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. Experience in customer training is a requirement.
This role requires a solid understanding of the technical aspects of security hardware products such as access control, GSM diallers, CCTV and intercoms. NIDAC are currently well known in this space. You will be responsible for expanding sales, identifying and developing relationships with new customers and integrators, in addition to maintaining and growing sales within the existing customer base.
Responsibilities:
* Trade counter sales. Daily writing of sales documents, sales orders.
* Outbound sales calls to existing customers
* Phone tech support
* Develop new relationships in an effort to grow business and help the company expand
* Maintain existing customer relationships
* Customer training
* You will report to the director of sales & marketing.
Qualifications:
* 2 years+ prior industry or allied industry -related sales and technical support experience
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Proven knowledge of security hardware
* Focused and goal-oriented.
