OSE says its Convergence Council is soliciting the participation of technology providers and systems integrators to help complete the roadmap project sometime this year. “We anticipate that the convergence roadmap will become a living document that will be continually updated to define the vision of the future,” says OSE Vice Chairperson Laurie Aaron. Other associations expected to take park in the roadmap project are the Security Industry Association (SIA) and ASIS Int’l. In related news, OSE has announced it is reducing its annual dues for members. Dues will now be $7,500 for board members and $2,500 for a general member. Among OSE members are Fargo Electronics, GE Infrastructure, Software House/Tyco and Deister Electronics.
