Port Phillip City Council CCTV Renewal Sought For Multiple St Kilda Locations.
Port Phillip City Council CCTV Renewal – Port Phillip City Council is seeking expressions of interest from registered contractors for the renewal of public place CCTV infrastructure across key precincts in St Kilda.
The project will be managed as a services contract and is structured in 4 stages – a full system audit and documentation, supply and installation of new equipment, ongoing maintenance, and a defects liability period.
The scope of the project is limited to public realm CCTV assets and excludes any equipment located in council or private buildings. The renewal works will take place across 4 sites —Fitzroy Street, Little Grey Street, St Kilda Foreshore, and Acland Street and the surrounding entertainment precinct.
Port Phillip is a densely populated inner metropolitan area covering around 20.7 square kilometres south of Melbourne’s CBD. It has a population of just over 100,000 people and includes major commercial and recreational hubs, making public safety and surveillance infrastructure a priority.
Interested contractors must provide sufficient detail in their expression of interest to allow the council to evaluate submissions in line with requirements outlined in the REOI. Submissions close on May 27 2025 and must be lodged electronically via the council’s tender portal.
