SecuSafe To Showcase SpeedFace-V5L Series At SecTech Roadshow This May!

SecuSafe To Showcase SpeedFace-V5L Series At SecTech – SecuSafe will showcase the SpeedFace-V5L Series biometric access control terminals at SecTech, with the range featured on the SecuSafe stand.

The SpeedFace-V5L Series is a multi-technology access control platform combining facial recognition with card, PIN and optional palm and fingerprint authentication. The terminals are designed for high-throughput environments, supporting up to 10,000 users with fast authentication speeds of less than 0.35 seconds for facial recognition.

The platform uses touchless biometric authentication, with mask detection capability and anti-spoofing algorithms designed to detect presentation attacks using photos or video. The system supports recognition distances up to 1.7 metres, allowing flexible deployment at entry points without requiring close user interaction.

Variants in the range include standard, RFID and QR-enabled models, with the QR version supporting dynamic QR credentials via mobile applications. All models support multiple credential types, including 125kHz and 13.56MHz cards, with optional multi-technology modules.

The terminals integrate with wider security systems via TCP/IP, Wiegand and RS485, and support ONVIF connectivity for video integration with network video recorders. A SIP-based video intercom function is also supported, enabling use as a combined access control and intercom device.

The SpeedFace-V5L Series is built on a Linux platform with a quad-core processor, and includes a 5-inch display, dual camera system and onboard storage for up to 200,000 transactions.
