Services Australia ID Card Tender – Services Australia has floated issue of a tender in September 2025 for the provision of physical credentials, hardware, and consumables associated with the production and management of identity cards.

The requirement includes supply of physical card stock, printing and encoding hardware, and related consumables supporting card issuance and lifecycle operations.

The tender outlines the agency’s intention to engage a supplier capable of meeting federal identity credentialing needs. The scope is expected to cover production equipment, card personalisation systems, and stock and consumables used for both standard and secure government identity cards.

Services Australia is a key federal agency responsible for delivering welfare, health, and disaster relief services to millions of Australians. Operating more than 318 service centres across the country and employing over 28,000 staff, it supports critical national programs including Medicare, Centrelink and Child Support.
