Speed Intercom & Security offered a wide range of alarm, intercom, locking and access control systems and components to a customer base in Brisbane, North Queensland, Northern Territory, PNG, Indonesia and the Pacific Islands.
“Bringing Speed Intercom into the Seadan network makes a lot of sense for our customers and the customers of Speed,” said Ian Harris, one of Seadan’s Directors.
“Both company’s customers now have access to a wider range of products and technical expertise than before” he added.
The Speed team will move into Seadan’s branch office in Newstead.
“Joining Seadan allows our current customers to benefit from recent technologies such as IP CCTV,” says Mike Fisher of Speed Intercom. “The strength of Seadan’s support and its comprehensive stock holdings will allow us to grow more rapidly.”
Seadan Security & Electronics is a national security wholesale distributor with branches in ACT, NSW, QLD, VIC and WA. Seadan’s diverse product range spans the entire spectrum of security equipment including the recently introduced CCTV Division which has already achieved significant growth in all branches.
The Seadan recently celebrated its 25th year in Australia in 2013.
